Richard J. McKinley, Jr.

Richard J. McKinley, Jr., 68, of Hanover, PA was promoted to glory on Monday, February 16, 2026.

Born May 31, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Richard J., Sr. and Loretta (Greenly) McKinley.  Richard was the loving husband of Eileen M. (Nolan) McKinley with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Richard worked as a police officer in Philadelphia for twenty years, and then as a security officer for Disney for seven years until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Police.

Richard enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.   

In addition to his loving wife, Eileen, he is survived by a son, Richard Joseph McKinley, III; a granddaughter, Aurora Rose McKinley; and three siblings, Loretta Ellis, Helen Black, and William McKinley.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert McKinley.   

Following cremation, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
